CNNP will start the new year with a session on the works of Mary Shepherd’s work at the Eastern Division of the American Philosophical Association in Philadelphia. The session will be chaired by Keota Fields (UMass Dartmouth). We are pleased to have a presentation by Don Garrett (NYU) titled “External Existence and the Rejection of Idealism in Hume and Shepherd.” Marina Folescu (University of Missouri) will also present "Some Remarks on Mary Shepherd's Views on the Perception of the External World." The final session paper will be held by Antonia LoLordo (University of Virginia) titled “Mind and Body in Shepherd’s Essays on the Perception of an External Universe.”
