The Center for New Narratives in Philosophy addresses the growing need to broaden the scope of philosophy to include topics of social value and foster practices of diversity and inclusion. Building on innovative work in the history of philosophy, gender and race studies, and our own public-facing philosophy, our initiatives encourage inclusive work among professional philosophers and graduate students, prompt undergraduates to consider their responsibilities to bring about a more just society, and make the results of current innovative work easily available.
